The Vicair Xxtra O2 wheelchair cushion offers larger sizes than other Vicair models with a user weight of up to 500kg to accommodate plus size individuals. Based on the Vicair Adjuster O2 design, it can be used to manage small pelvic obliquities by adjusting the amount of SmartCells in the adjustable compartments. Each compartment is filled with larger SmartCells (which have a lifetime warranty) for optimal skin protection. The perforated design allows the Vicair O2 cushion to be fully machine washed and facilitates air flow for moisture control.
Lifetime warranty is a unique Vicair service that applies to the latest generation of Vicair SmartCells.
We stand for the quality of these cells and therefore will always replace them in case some of them unexpectedly do not last a

The unique Vicair air-technology, which uses the small air- filled SmartCells, was developed in cooperation with the Amsterdam Rehabilitation Centre. Ease of use
Vicair SmartCell cushions are extremely user-friendly. The well balanced filling grade ensures that Vicair cushions are ready to use, but if you prefer, you can adjust the cushions to your personal positioning needs by adding or removing SmartCells.
Machine washable
The cushion requires hardly any maintenance; there is no need for a pump or any other accessories and once the cushion is set up, it doesn’t require daily monitoring. The new Vicair O2 wheelchair cushions can even be easily machine washed at 60°C.
Optimal adjustment to the body’s contours for equal pressure distribution
The Adjuster O2 is extremely suitable for use with asymmetric body contours and amputations. It automatically manages small obliquities and is individually adjustable to support more extreme asymmetry. The Adjuster O2 offers a high comfort level, optimal skin protection and stability. The design allows total immersion to equally redistribute pressure and prevents
sliding forward. 100% machine washable and breathable, for optimal hygiene and perfect temperature and moisture regulation. As a result the Adjuster O2 offers the optimal protection against skin breakdown.

Notice! Vicair B.V. recommends not to use the cushion above 2400 m (8000 ft) above sea level or below 50 m (164 ft) below sea level. Because each SmartCell is filled with air, the cushion may behave differently when used at high altitude or in an airplane. Under such circumstances, the cushion’s firmness can be adjusted by removing a few cells from each compartment.
